My Story: coming soon...

My Background: Yoshi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from University of Northern Colorado, in May 2011. He received his Master of Science degree in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University in December 2013, where he served as the graduate assistant Athletic Trainer for wrestling and track and field/cross country.

In 2012, Yoshi served as the medical coordinator for the NCAA Division II Super Regional Four and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Wrestling Championships. He also completed a summer internships in 2011 with the Colorado Rapids (MLS), and Sporting Kansas City (MLS) in 2014. He went on to work at the University Missouri Science & Technology as an Assistant Athletic Trainer/Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Yoshi went on to work for the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club for 2 years.  His main role was to bridge the gap between medical and performance departments to provide efficient and effective Return to Play (RTP) protocols utilizing sports science and neuro-biomechanics.

Following his work with the Rapids, Yoshi began working for the US Army in June of 2020 as a tactical Athletic Trainer for the Fourth Combat Aviation Brigade. His responsibility was to design and coordinate the rehabilitation, reconditioning, and injury prevention programs for soldiers in the US Army.

We are so happy that Yoshi joined the Team when TPMT expanded in July 2021!

Yoshi is a native of Tokyo, Japan. He now lives with his family in Denver
